(One week before the World Science Fiction Convention in Anaheim, August 27 – 31)
We are seeking presenters for academic papers, PowerPoint presentations, or one-hour classes that explore the themes of Philip K. Dick’s work, life, or films. The lectures will be recorded for the Philip K. Dick Festival YouTube channel, and the full papers will be considered for a fundraiser anthology from Quoir books.
Presentations should be 20 to 30 minutes. The paper’s length will have no limit.
Abstract should include a summary of the paper, no more than 1,000 words. Papers could be chosen for an anthology of papers and fiction written for the 2026 PKD festival. Proceeds from the book will benefit future Dick festivals, including PKD’s Centennial Festival in Berkeley. The Festival anthology will be published by Quoir Books.
The papers must be presented in person at Cal State Fullerton between August 20-23rd so be prepared to travel to present.
